SNMP – Simple Network Management Protocol

 

This protocol is an industry standard for network management and consists of managed devices, managers and agents.

SNMP exchanges network information through messages. The SNMP messages may be initiated by either the network management system (NMS) or by the network element.

 

When SNMP features in power supplies, it allows users to control and monitor their power supplies remotely, from any
communication device with access to the internet.

SNMP is an easily implemented protocol which helps users manage and control critical elements in their networks and systems.
